**Attendance at both dates is mandatory for all musicians and vocalists applying for the first time. If you are re auditioning, you will still need to sign up.

WHAT TO EXPECT FOR THE AUDITION:

The audition is split into 2 parts.

Part 1: Is a solo audition on your instrument, and will be administrated by 1-2 existing M+M team members.

Part 2: Is a group audition where we place you in a band to be observed by all GREENHOUSE administrators and ministry applicants. This is always a fun experience as we move to the stage and go amplified!

Our selection process is collaborative, and whether you are invited onto the team or not, we seek to make it a formative experience for you. No matter how many years we serve in this ministry, spiritual and practical growth is always possible. To this end, everyone who auditions will be given straightforward, and honest feedback. If you meet the character and community requirements, but need to work on the craft/skill, you will be able to audition again in 6 months.

“Is there an application?”

“What kind of people are you looking for?”
We are looking for gospel centered Christ followers, committed to the Southlands Church community, and called to this ministry. This includes a worshipping life and posture on and off stage, attending a Southlands Lifegroup, attending our new members course (or in the process of doing so), and a momentum adding level of skill.

“What are the minimum skill requirements?”

“Do I need to learn any songs?”
Yes. 2 Audition songs will be assigned at Orientation.

“Do I need to bring an instrument to Orientation?”
No.

“Do I need to bring an instrument to the Audition?”
Drum set and Piano are the only instruments provided at the Audition. All other instrumentalists, please bring the gear you will need to successfully audition.
