What It Is: Southlands @ Home is an opportunity to meet new people in the Southlands community! Whether you’ve been at the church for a week or twenty years, there are bound to be people you don’t know and would love to meet you. This summer several homes will host potluck dinners so that we can connect with one another, forge new relationships and possibly begin friendships that will last for decades.
How It Works: Just sign up in the lobby on Sundays by Sunday, July 23rd. Our hosting gurus will then assign you to one of the many host homes that is available that night. You will get an email the week prior to the event letting you know where you’ll be going and what you can bring to the feast! It’s that simple and the real adventure is that you won’t know where or who you’ll be having dinner with that night until your host emails. We’ll do our best to pair you with some great people and trust God for divine appointments! There have been many cool stories from past experiences, so we’re looking forward to more.
When It Happens: July 30th at 5:30-7:30pm. Sign up in the lobby by Sunday, July 23rd. Your host will email you the week prior to plan the meal.
