DNA Classes

We believe that Southlands Church is called by God to be a gospel-centered, spirit-empowered community on mission. This vision has formed us as a people and guided us as a family and we want to continue the journey of diving deeper into what it means for every person in our community to embody and live our these qualities.

As the elders of Southlands have prayerful considered how to further this mission, we have decided to launch Southlands DNA classes. Starting Sunday, October 6th, Southlands will be offering a series of four, six week DNA classes aimed at unpacking and explaining what it means for us to be Gospel Centered (1st class), Spirit Empowered (2nd class), In Community (3rd class) and On Mission (4th class).

These classes will be interactive, community driven Bible studies looking at what God’s word has to say about these topics and how we can further live them out at Southlands church. The classes will be elder taught and offered once a year, and our hope is that over the next few years you would take all four classes. We have designed these classes to be accessible to anyone who is interested; they only required that people show up with a heart to learn and intent to live out God’s word.

Please consider taking one or two of these classes this year and join us for the Gospel Centered class starting this Sunday, October 6th at 9:30am upstarts in the “Workshop.” The dates for the 2019-2020 classes are below.
