Mexico Building Trip Rancho Hermosa Orphanage

Friday, August 11 – Sunday, August 13

Trip Overview:  Rancho Hermosa Orphanage is 3 miles inland from the coastal town of Primo Tapia, Baja, about 30 minutes from the border. Nearby towns are Puerto Nuevo and La Mision. We will stay in comfortable dorms in Primo Tapia and drive to the orphanage to work. When the Phase #1 building is complete we can accept children by the end of this year – so we are working hard! This building is a 4,600 square foot structure in need of all finishing work. We will be building simple, wood -framed kitchen cabinets and counters, painting interior walls, building pantry shelving, pouring concrete to build a new road, plus other misc. tasks as well as have opportunity to work with local ministries.
