FAST DAY 2 // No matter how you’re choosing to fast we all share the same “why”. Turning off the tap of other things that feed us, so we can be fed by Christ! And we felt so fed last night at our prayer and worship gathering. We’ll have more gathering throughout today at 12-1pm and 6:30-7:30pm. Come if you’re struggling, come if you’re on fire, come if you feel like you’re just going through the motions. The Spirit wants you any way that you come and so do we. So come and get fed!

FAST DAY 1 // Happy first day of the fast to everyone participating! We hope as you intentionally choose to remove distractions during these next three days, you are met by God is ways you need and also ways you never expected! Here’s a word of encouragement from Southland’s Intern Matt Lemos, as he shares a bit of his experience during last year’s fast and the posture that he has going into this year’s!

TODAY // As we gather tonight to kick off our all church fast, it was great to hear from Alan on what he encourages us to press into. Unity, Union, Consecration and Mission: four areas that we hope to see God move and build us up in during these next couple days. We’re excited to see you back here tonight for the kick off. We’ll be joining together with Chino and Santa Ana, so come ready to worship as a big family!

ALL CHURCH FAST // This Sunday night we will gathe

ALL CHURCH FAST // This Sunday night we will gather with all three Southlands congregations to kick off our All Church Fast. As a staff, we set aside some time yesterday to pray through and discuss the areas in which we hope to see God work during this years fast. We hope you’ll take these days leading up to the fast to prepare & consider what God may do in your life.

We encourage you to also consider the ways in which you might fast. Food, activities, spending, electronics, social media- there are so many ways we distract ourselves throughout the week. We hope the fast is a time you can give up & let go of other things so that you can re-center on God.

We started doing Family Worship for the kids… but sometimes it seems like it’s really for the adults 🤣 Family Worship has quickly grown to be one of our favorite Sundays of the month, teaching Southlands kids how to celebrate and connect with God through worship! Nothing beats it!

YOUNG ADULTS // We’re so excited to be back! After a long break for the holidays, we have our first Young Adults night of the year coming up this Friday night! It’ll be 6-8:30 pm and we’ll be launching into a new series on the fruits of the Spirit! Young adults of all stages of life are welcome- single, married, with kids, college aged, everybody! Come out for a night of fun and worship!

TODAY // One of our greatest joys is coming to a place on Sundays where we can love and be loved! We had family worship and heard a brilliant message from Alan on the Wedding at Cana. A great reminder that joy is serious, heavenly business! Have a wonderful Sunday Southlands! Enjoy the sun ☀️
